NEWS FROM THE NEENAH PUBLIC LIBRARY January -February 2008 DRAFT

HOLIDAY HOURS
The library will be closed Christmas Eve and Christmas Day (Dec. 24 and 25) and New Year's Day (Jan. 1). The library will close at 5 p.m. on New Year's Eve (Dec. 31). All other days the library will be open regular hours: Monday through Thursday, 9 a.m.-9 p.m.; Friday, 9 a.m.-6 p.m.; Saturday, 9 a.m.-5 p.m.; Sunday, 1 p.m.-5 p.m.

Coming in 2008: Watch for a visit to the Neenah Public Library in April from an Oprah Book Club author along with the announcement of a new "Fox Cities Reads" title! You won't want to miss this event! More details soon.

Sunday, Feb. 24, 2 p.m.: North Country Drifters Western Swing Band
Western Swing music of the 1930s, 40s and 50s-including classic songs from Jimmie Rodgers, Bob Wills, Milton Brown and Ernest Tubb. Real cowboy music!
Sunday, April 6, 2 p.m.: Vale Todo Salsa Band
Cuban-New York style salsa and Latin jazz with influences from Tito Puente, Ray Barretto, Rubén Blades, Héctor Lavoe. 12-piece band with students from Lawrence University!

Babytime: Babies birth through 12 mos. Wednesdays or Thursdays, 9:15 a.m.
Toddletime: Toddlers 12 mos. through 23 mos. Tuesdays or Fridays, 10:30 a.m.
Lapsit: 2-year olds with caregiver. Thursdays, 9:15 or 10 a.m.; Wednesdays, 10 a.m.
Our Time: 3-, 4-, and 5-year olds without caregiver. Tuesdays, 9:15 a.m. or Wednesdays, 1 p.m.
Storycraft: 3-, 4-, 5-, and 6-year olds without caregiver. Fridays, 1:00 p.m. on the following dates: Jan. 11, 18, 25; Feb. 8, 15, 22; March 14, 21, 28; April 11, 18, 25; May 9, 16, 23.
